PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
THE OHIO ARTS COUNCIL - Columbus, OH
Arts Learning Grants Coordinator: November 2025 - Present
Proud service with the Ohio Arts Council, a state agency funding and supporting quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. Support Ohioans through constituent guidance, cross-sector coordination, and problem-solving in service of the state’s arts education ecosystem. Coordinate the TeachArtsOhio (TAO) grant program, supporting schools and teaching artists through application preparation, panel review, onboarding, compliance guidance, documentation oversight, and issue resolution. Select, train, and support review panels to ensure equitable, transparent, and consistent application scoring. Conduct site visits statewide to support, assess, and celebrate school-based artist residencies. Manage the Ohio Teaching Artist Roster and provide ongoing cohort professional development in collaboration with partners from the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, OhioDance, ArtPossible Ohio, and the Kennedy Center, supporting alignment for statewide arts education practices.
PULSING PRISM PRODUCTIONS – Newark, OH

Founder and Creative Director at Pulsing Prism Productions, a multimedia production studio specializing in audio drama and experimental media. Responsible for overseeing the production process, including conceptualization, script development, voice casting & acting, sound design, and post-production. Successfully produced and released multiple high-quality projects while continuously exploring innovative storytelling techniques. Currently expanding the studio's capabilities and exploring engagement formats to reach a broader audience.
THE DAWES ARBORETUM – Newark, OH
Administrative Assistant - Science and Conservation: July 2023 – October 2025
Led process improvements, managed complex scheduling and communications, and fostered cross-departmental and external collaborations. Wrote, edited, and designed executive documents (e.g., strategic plans, capital project proposals, grant reports) and optimized workflows using Asana and Smartsheet. Oversaw budget management, purchasing, department event planning, and quality control. Pursued specialized training in conservation, collections, and botanical education to support projects and enrich visitor and partner engagement. Served as co-chair for the IDEA B (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Belonging) committee and as a member for the Indigenous Land Connections committee, advancing organizational and community inclusivity initiatives. Collaborated on “Arts at the Arboretum” for the 2025 operating year.
UNBOUND ARTS COLLECTIVE – Hybrid/Remote
Founder & Creative Director: October 2019 – June 2024
Founder and Creative Director at UnBound Arts Collective, a volunteer-led creative collective producing quarterly zines featuring the works of femme, trans, and nonbinary artists, with emphasis on BIPOC creators. Expanded the mission through work with local and global organizations, businesses, and arts/social justice-oriented projects. UnBound served to support creatives and amplify the voices of marginalized communities through publications, workshops, conversation series, social media campaigns, a community Discord server, various iterations of a Global Resource Directory, and local events.
WESTCHESTER EDUCATION SERVICES – Remote
Culturally Responsive Education Reviewer: April 2021 – May 2023
Reviewed, edited, and created educational and literary content with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Provided actionable feedback to ensure content met DEI standards. Collaborated with a team of reviewers and writers to deliver high-quality content for various clients, including major education publishers and ed-tech companies Savvas, Weld North, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Learning A-Z, PowerSchool,
StudySync, Right At School, Lexia Learning, and more.
KALEIDOSCOPE YOUTH CENTER – Columbus, OH
Ohio State GSA Network Coordinator: February 2020 – December 2020
Developed and hosted programs, workshops, and community events aimed at supporting LGBTQIA+ youth organizing in schools and communities across the state of Ohio. Supported youth and school staff through in-person and online site visits to schools to assess the needs of GSAs with their members and provide resources. Worked in the Kaleidoscope drop-in center, (during COVID on Discord and Zoom) serving LGBTQIA+ youth via 1:1s, center programming, and participation in BIPOC and Gender Nonconforming affinity groups: QPOC and Genderscope. Collaborated with the national organization GSA Network.
TEACH FOR AMERICA – Memphis, TN
Teacher: April 2018 – April 2019
Selected from approximately 40,000 applicants nationwide to join national teacher corps comprised of leaders who commit to teach in high-risk public schools. Participated in an intensive training program to develop the skills and knowledge needed to achieve significant gains in student achievement. Proceeded as a third grade English, Writing, and Social Studies teacher working with high-risk and underserved students at Treadwell Elementary School in the “iZone” of Shelby County Schools, intended to improve underperforming schools from the bottom 5% to the top 25% of schools in Tennessee.
