The Extraplanar Radio Show is a surreal sci-fi horror audio drama following Creature X, a cryptic alien whose broadcasts slip between deadpan wit and mounting dread. Through layered sound design and fragmented storytelling, the series drifts through a universe of strange transmissions, unreliable narratives, and looming cosmic threats. Beneath the dark humor and eerie atmosphere, the series tackles themes of imperialism, colonialism, and bodily autonomy; a speculative fiction work imagining paths through authoritarianism and control to liberation.

The first iteration of this project began release in winter 2021 - recorded and produced out of a cardboard box - with six episodes published through late 2023. Thanks to generous grants from the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the birth of Pulsing Prism Productions, this work is now being remastered, rerecorded, and reimagined in 2026.
